Precautionary Statements
Obtain special instructions before use. Keep away from heat, hot surfaces, sparks, open flames and other ignition sources. No smoking. Do not spray on an open flame or other ignition source. Do not pierce or burn, even after use. Do not breathe dust/fume/gas/mist/vapours/spray. Wear protective gloves/protective clothing/eye protection/face protection. Use personal protective equipment as required. IF ON SKIN: Wash with plenty of soap and water. IF IN EYES: Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing. IF exposed or concerned: Get medical advice/attention. Call a POISON CENTER or doctor/physician if you feel unwell. If eye irritation persists: Get medical advice/attention. Take off contaminated clothing. Store in a well-ventilated place. Keep container tightly closed. Protect from sunlight. RESPIRATORY PROTECTION: When concentrations exceed the exposure limits specified, use of a NIOSH-approved dust, mist and fume respirator is recommended. Where the protection factor of the respirator may be exceeded, use of a full facepiece, supplied air, or Self Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA) may be necessary. SKIN PROTECTION: Chemical-resistant gloves may be required for individuals with sensitive skin. EYE PROTECTION: Ensure that eyewash stations and safety showers are close to the workstation location. Chemical resistant goggles must be worn. OTHER PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT: Use personal protective equipment as necessary. Safety shower and eyewash station should be located in immediate work area. |
