It can can also cause stomach pain, fever, fatigue, difficulty breathing and death from paralysis of muscles needed for breathing. It can cause a dangerous fluid build up in the lungs (pulmonary edema). Chronic: Not available. Can cause damage to the retina. It can also cause the development of a skin allergy with rash and itching.
